The safety program you will be provided with is a personalized, electronic version, which should be reviewed and modified to fit the
hazards and operations of your business. Also, you need to have more than just a paper program. To be effective you must comply
with what your program states, including ensuring accountability to safety rules by both employees and management, holding and
documenting safety meetings and inspections, correcting hazards, investigate accidents, keep written records, etc.
In California every employer is required by law to provide a safe and healthful workplace for his/her employees. Title 8 of the California Code of Regulations, requires every California employer to have an effective Injury and Illness Prevention Program in
writing. As a benefit of your membership in the Association of All Great Retailers we will provide a personalized electronic version of a Workplace Injury and Illness Prevention Program with checklists for self-inspection based on the information you provide to us. To do so, we need to gather some information. Below is a list of key questions. Please make sure to review all components to make sure they are relevant to your business. If you have any additional questions please contact us at info@california-retailers.com.
